The Planning Department reviews all subdivision and land development applications for Franklin County. PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Sewage Facilities Planning Modules are reviewed as well. The application process for these planning processes generally begins with the municipality you are located in. Please download and complete the Application for Development Review and Approval for submission to the municipality your property is located in. Additionally, you may want to call the municipality to confirm their application process.

Per approval by the municipality, your application will be forwarded to the Planning Department for review. We charge the following Subdivision & Land Development application fees:

$20.00 for the first lot on a plan.
$3.00 for each additional lot on the same plan.

• No fee for subdivision and land development revisions.
• If there has been no action regarding an approved plan for more than 5 years, the plan is treated as a new submission and the Subdivision & Land Development
  application fees listed above are charged.
• There is no application fee for DEP Planning Modules for Sewage Facilities.
